You need one of three options: a USB-C IR adapter dongle ($5-10, plugs into your iPhone), a WiFi IR hub like BroadLink RM4 Mini placed near your AC, or a smart AC with built-in WiFi (Daikin, Gree, Midea, AUX, TCL). The app works with all three.

Use the IR Learning feature to capture codes from your original remote using a BroadLink or Tuya hub. You can also submit a request through the app and we typically add new brands within a week.
